The acronym NIHYCRI regards the Malagasy standards for infrastructure construction hydroagricultural against floods.
NIHYCRI aims to increase the safety of hydro-agricultural infrastructure so as to:
- protect people and property against the risks associated with the presence of these infrastructure;
- mitigate the socio-economic impacts of floods on the perimeters irrigated;
- secure the investments made in the framework of hydroagricultural development.
