Disaster Risk Management

This law regulates the national policy for disaster reduction and provides for the implementation and financing of disaster risk management in Madagascar.

This Appeal document has been prepared by the Government of Lesotho for presentation to its Development Partners, local business organizations, and citizens of good will to assist in addressing and redressing the current situation.

The purpose of national disaster risk reduction policy is to provide a framework for effective planning and implementation of disaster risk reduction in Lesotho. More than 90 percent of disasters in Lesotho are related to climatic changes.
