This project strategy is focused on a planning and implementation approach that reduces vulnerabilities and managing risks, and contributing to poverty reduction and sustainable national development in Swaziland.
Specifically, the project seeks to strengthen national and local resilience to disaster risks within the context of sustainable development - through strengthening national and local disaster risk reduction capacities. Project activities will complement the GEF funded Climate Change and Adaptation Programme.
