The Eswatini Vulnerability Assessment Committee (Eswatini VAC) conducted the annual assessment in an effort to understand the level of vulnerability at household level countrywide over the 2018/19 consumption period.
The annual vulnerability assessment and analysis process is a mechanism to depict the state of livelihoods in the country through a series of technical steps to guide conclusions for programming and informing responses aimed at enhancing the lives of affected people. An analysis of the impact of the various shocks affecting households provides guidance to humanitarian agencies on the type, magnitude and cost of interventions.
