The 2019 Eswatini Vulnerability Assessment and Analysis was carried out between May and June 2019 with a view to provide information on the state of livelihoods and vulnerability with a particular emphasis on the rural areas of the country.
The results presented in this report cover a wide range of issues across a number of sectors that have a bearing on the livelihoods context of Eswatini. Some programmatic recommendations are also proposed to help guide interventions and policy decisions aimed at improving the welfare of the most vulnerable. In the broader context, the vulnerability assessment and analysis process is a systematic approach that applies a set of technical steps aimed at providing credible information, in a timely and cost effective manner.
