The National Strategy for Climate Change 2018-2030 (ENAC 2018-2030) arises from the need to articulate objectives, instruments and institutions in pursuing the most recent challenges that the country is facing, both in terms of its economy and the improvement of conditions population, as well as at the level of the most recent global climatic events, resulting from the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
In response to the challenges for these, ENAC establishes the vision of Angolan national policy in the 2030 horizon, taking into account the need to articulate Angolan policy in terms of mitigation and adaptation to the impacts of climate change. ENAC will give rise to the development of the National Emissions Plan (PNE) and the National Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change (PNAAC).
